I get so many questions about my weight training belt for girls all over the world! I started out using a basic low priced belt I bought online. The problem was that it took FOREVER to break in to the point that it was nice and soft and comfortable to wear for a long period of time. The problem with this was that I really didn't like to recommend the brand to girls because when they ordered it they expected it to be comfy and form-fitting like my belt looked in my videos. So I went through A LOT of belt manufacturers worldwide and finally found one (right here in the USA) that could make a belt I could offer to all my girls (and guys- these are completely unisex) that are soft and form-fitting.
If you purchase this belt you will be wearing the exact same belt I use. These are custom-made for me by the manufacturer and can’t be purchased anywhere else.
Why do I always wear my weight belt when I workout even when I'm not doing heavy load leg exercises? I get this question daily. I even get trolled and made fun of. People at the gym refer to me as "the girl that always wears her belt". I don't mind because I know what it is all about and what works for me. The obvious reason I wear my belt is for core support during heavy lifts. The reason I don't take it off after my heavy lifts is that I like to avoid the upper body, primarily the oblique pump, from my workout. The majority of all exercises will engage your core in some way. Whether you are doing curls or squats, your core and obliques are going to engage to help support you. I get a huge oblique pump from most of my workouts. I wear my belt throughout my workout to avoid getting this temporary pump and to keep my waist appearance as slim as possible post workout. This gives that nice V taper look that I prefer. This is not for everyone, but it is my preference. You don’t have to wear your belt your entire workout like I do. It is a great tool to use just to support your core during heavy lifts. However you choose to use it, I am confident you are going to love the fit of this belt.
Before selecting your size please refer to the graphic in the photos to size yourself correctly. The belt comes in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. Be sure to have a soft tape measurer or a string that you can mark on to get an accurate fit.
1. Stand up straight while wearing tight-fitting clothing and have your soft tape measure in hand.
2. Wrap the tape measure around your midsection area and brace your abdomen as if you were lifting weight.
3. Tighten the tape measure so that it is snug and record the measurement. Use this number to select your belt size.
